Once this desktop is enrolled and paired, Signal becomes the live map of your control fleet.

Signal

Signal shows connection state, paired and online bridges, the agents found in their latest Herdr snapshots, and an attention queue for agents that need a decision. Discover refreshes the fleet; opening an agent moves into its session cockpit.

Session cockpit

The cockpit combines the live Herdr pane with:

• Current host, workspace, and agent status.
• A prompt composer that sends agent.prompt.
• Explicit allow and reject controls for terminal-fallback decisions.

WARNING — > The current fallback decision buttons send one keystroke into the pane: Enter for allow or Escape for reject. They are not a cryptographically verified approval. Read the live pane before deciding.

If Herdr exposes richer structured permission metadata for an agent, the client uses the capabilities advertised by that bridge. Controls that a host does not advertise stay unavailable.

Source of truth

Herdr remains the source of truth for sessions, workspaces, tabs, panes, and terminal state. C3 Desktop does not create a second copy of that model; it reads snapshots and sends commands back to the bridge.
