QR Code Quick Connect

Instantly connect to C3 by scanning a QR code.

Overview

QR codes provide the fastest way to connect the mobile app to your C3 server. The QR code contains all connection details, including host, port, and credentials.

Beta Feature

QR Code setup is currently in beta. It works well in most cases, but manual setup is available as a fallback.

Scanning QR Codes

  1. Start the C3 server — a QR code appears in your terminal
  2. Open the C3 mobile app
  3. Tap "Scan QR Code" on the setup screen
  4. Point your camera at the QR code
  5. The app automatically configures and connects

Regenerating Codes

Press q while the server is running to display the QR code again. This is useful if:

  • You cleared the terminal
  • You need to set up another device
  • The original code scrolled off screen
